With a 15-day break in MLS play for D.C. United, a friendly against Liga MX's Puebla provided a great chance to continuing building momentum after a 3-0 win over the Montreal Impact.

Quincy Amarikwa scored the team's lone goal, with assists going to Leo Jara and Acosta. Puebla currently sit 17th in Liga MX after the opening Apertura matches. D.C. returns to MLS action Sept. 15 at the Portland Timbers.
