The Philadelphia Union are on a roll.
Scoring goals on either side of the half, the Union went to the nation's capital and came away with a 2-0 win over D.C. United on a hot and muggy Wednesday night at Audi Field.
CJ Sapong opened the scoring at the half hour mark when he tapped in a lose ball after Bill Hamid saved Cory Burke's shot. Fafa Picault doubled the lead after the break when he combined with Sapong and ripped a shot past Hamid.
Philadelphia has now won four straight, and the 12 wins on the year matches the club's high set in 2013.
