San Jose Earthquakes mascot "Q" and defender Wade Barrett spent a day in the park on Sunday, June 19. The two attended the North Side Neighborhood Association's annual picnic and BBQ at Backesto Park in San Jose.
During the afternoon visit, "Q" and Wade helped raffle off various prizes to the picnic-goers, including tickets to upcoming Earthquakes games. The Quakes duo also signed autographs for fans at the park and posed for pictures with those attending the picnic.
Ever the kid at heart, "Q" played on the slides and swings at Backesto Park and even pushed boys on girls on the tire swing to make sure everyone had a great time at the picnic. "Q" finished off the day by chowing down on some cheeseburgers and drinking a few Sierra Mists. It was all in all a great day and event for "Q," Wade, and everyone involved in the North Side Neighborhood Association BBQ.
