Update (5:41 p.m. ET)
Looks like talks are going well, indeed:
D.C. currently have three Homegrown players on their roster: Goalkeeper Bill Hamid, midfielder Collin Martin and defender Jalen Robinson. Past D.C. Homegrown signings include Honduran international and current Anderlecht midfielder Andy Najar, New York City FC defender Ethan White and forward Michael Seaton, who was released by the Portland Timbers in May.
