After a midweek win over the LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew SC are seeking the rare L.A. sweep Saturday night when they host LAFC at MAPFRE Stadium.
Columbus (5-6-1) snapped a five-match losing streak with an emphatic 3-1 win over the Galaxy Wednesday night. Gyasi Zardes scored against his former team and then set up Federico Higuain before Hector Jimenez added a third goal in the 66th minute.
LAFC (7-1-3) are looking to rebound from a pair of draws, including a 0-0 stalemate against the Chicago Fire Saturday at Banc of California Stadium.
