It would be tough to find a better free-kick goal than Shkelzen Gashi's strike against the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend.
The Colorado Rapids attacker curled a dead ball around the wall and into the top corner and it has now won AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 29. The goal gave the Rapids a 3-2 lead, but they would end up conceding once more and drawing 3-3 on the road at BC Place.
Gashi's curler got 78 percent of the vote in the final of the bracket, trouncing a beautiful chip from Philadelphia Union midfielder Alejandro Bedoya. Gashi's goal had previously defeated goals from Orlando City's Julio Baptista and Seattle's Osvaldo Alonso.
You can check out Gashi in action this weekend, as the Rapids will take on the Portland Timbers with a chance to clinch a playoff berth (9 pm ET; MLS LIVE).
