It’s a clash of the two top teams in Major League Soccer as the homestretch comes into view when the Colorado Rapids play host to FC Dallas on Saturday evening at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The two clubs are separated by just three points at the top of the Western Conference and MLS overall tables. The Rapids extended their club-record undefeated streak to 14 matches last weekend, sitting in second place in the West, following their 1-0 win against Sporting Kansas City at home. FCD hit the road after extending their long home undefeated run, maintaining their margin atop the conference standings following a 3-1 win against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Stadium.

- The Rapids extended their undefeated streak to 14 games in MLS play – now matching the eighth-longest run without a loss in league history – following their 1-0 win against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday evening at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The Rapids last lost in league play on April 9.
