Clash of playoff rivals Colorado Rapids, Portland Timbers voted MLSsoccer.com Stream of the Week

Stream of the Week - 2014: Generic

The Colorado Rapids and Portland Timbers will battle on Saturday night for precious points in the race to snare the Western Conference's final playoff spot, and fans across the country will be able to watch the action right here at MLSsoccer.com.

The duel at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (9 pm ET) has been voted MLSsoccer.com Free Stream of the Week.

Injury-ravaged Colorado are badly in need of a win, having slipped out of the playoff places thanks to a seven-game losing streak dating back to July 30. But even after that, they currently sit just five points back of the Timbers, who occupy fifth place in the Western Conference with 35 points from 27 matches.

Portland were involved in one of the weekend's wildest matches last Sunday, as they traded haymakers with the San Jose Earthquakes in a 3-3 thriller. The Rapids and Timbers have scored five goals over their two previous meetings this season, with one win for each side thus far.

Saturday's stream will be blacked out in Colorado and Portland, as fans can see the game in their local markets on Altitude and KPTV FOX 12, respectively.
