CARSON, Calif. - Club Deportivo Chivas USA announced today that it will face the Fresno Fuego of the Premier Development League (PDL) next Saturday, March 12, in the second exhibition match of the MLS expansion franchise's history. The game will be played at McLane High School Soccer Stadium in the city of Fresno, California, at 7:00 p.m. PT.
The match marks the first joint effort between Chivas USA and the Fuego,
which by agreement between the two clubs becomes Chivas USA's local sales
and marketing partner in the sixth largest city in California, and fifth
largest in terms of total Hispanic population.

match in the United States," said Whit Haskel, Senior Vice President and
General Manager of Club Deportivo Chivas USA. "In addition, we look forward
to being represented by the Fresno Fuego, a respected soccer institution in
the Central Valley and an important link to a key Hispanic market like the
city of Fresno."

Led by Head Coach Thomas Rongen and team captain Ramón Ramírez, Chivas USA
will arrive in Fresno on Friday, March 11 and will train that afternoon in a
