Chivas USA announces 2009 ticket prices; Opening Day set for March 21 vs. Colorado Rapids at The Home Depot Center

Following its third consecutive playoff appearance in four seasons, Chivas USA has officially announced its ticket pricing for the upcoming 2009 Major League Soccer season. New 'Corners' sections have been added to Chivas USA's seating chart at The Home Depot Center, while the 'Sidelines' section has been expanded. The Red-and-White kick off their fifth MLS campaign when they host the Colorado Rapids on Opening Day 2009, Saturday, March 21 at The Home Depot Center, in a game that will air live nationwide at 7:30 p.m. PT on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Español.


"After receiving positive feedback from our fans during the past year, we are proud to introduce several pricing improvements for the 2009 season," said Chivas USA Director of Sales Brandon Raphael. "These include our new, family-oriented Corners sections, as well as an expanded Sidelines section and more affordable pricing for our Midfield and Preferred sections, meaning you can now sit even closer to midfield for a better price. Chivas USA, which in 2008 finished second in Major League Soccer's Western Conference with a record of 12-11-7 (W-L-T), holds an all-time record of 2-1-1 (W-L-T) on Opening Day, and is 3-1-0 all-time in its Home Opener.
