One week after he officially joined the Fire, Bastian Schweinsteiger arrived in Chicago on Tuesday night with over 500 fans welcoming him at O'Hare International Airport.
Next up on the German legend's agenda: His official introduction to the media at a press conference which will be held at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch on Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm ET. The event will be streamed live on CSN+ and Chicago-Fire.com.
Schweinsteiger will be available for selection as early as this Saturday, when the Fire host the Montreal Impact at Toyota Park at 3 pm ET (MLS LIVE in the US; CTV, TVA Sports and TSN5 in Canada).
