On May 11, 2017, a Chicago Fire fan sent a postcard to the club imploring the team to sign an enganche, an Argentinian term for attacking midfielder or No. 10.
A month ago, the club announced they signed Argentinian attacking midfielder Nico Gaitan. Fire general manager Nelson Rodriguez didn't forget about that note he got from a fan nearly two years ago.
"I trust that this satisfies your request," Nelson wrote back to the fan on a printed version of the club's press release when they signed Gaitan.
