CenturyLink Field has provided one of the best atmospheres in MLS since the Seattle Sounders came into the league in 2009.
That ambiance has also featured when the US national team have played in Seattle, the most recent example being in 2013 when they played Panama in a World Cup qualifier. Now the team will face Ecuador there on Thursday with a spot in the semifinals of Copa America Centenario up for grabs (9:30 pm ET; FS1/UniMás/UDN).
The US won that Panama game 2-0 and have never dropped points at CenturyLink Field, including wins in three different Gold Cup matches. The team also played at the Kingdome and at Safeco Field in the past.
