A deflected shot in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Montreal Impact called for quick reflexes from Orlando City SC goalkeeper Joe Bendik, and Bendik's reaction was quick enough earn him Save of the Week honors – again – in Week 12.
For Bendik, it is the second week in a row, third time in the last four weeks, and the fourth time overall this season that he's earned the Save of the Week. This time he just barely edged out Philadelphia Union keeper Andre Blake in the final round of voting, 51 percent to 49 percent. He beat out D.C. United's Travis Worra and Columbus Crew SC's Steve Clark in the first two rounds to advance to the final.
