Mexican Primera Division and Wizards partner club Atlas AC will train in Kansas City this week in preparation for a friendly against the Wizards Friday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in KCK. Atlas opened their preseason trip with a 6-0 win over Omaha-based Red Fury FC last Thursday at Creighton University's Morrison Stadium. Atlas will train twice each day, with each training session open to the public.
Tuesday between training sessions, Atlas will hold a media day at 12:00 p.m. CT for interested Spanish-speaking media members. For more information about the trip, visit www.kcwizards.com/atlasinamerica.
