Members of Atlanta United's 2018 MLS Cup-winning squad received their championship rings on Thursday at training.
The rings were made from 10-karat white and yellow gold, with 101 white diamonds. Fourteen yellow diamonds were used to make the Atlanta "A" inside the crest on top of the ring. The stripes in the crest are made from custom black onyx and garnet stones. Around the crest, it says "MLS CUP CHAMPIONS" and has a star for the title earned.
The right side of the ring has Atlanta United written over the Atlanta skyline, with an MLS Cup trophy below it and the word "conquered" set across that. On the left side, the slogan "Unite & Conquer" is written in yellow gold, above the recipient's name. That side also features a golden spike.
The inside of the ring is inscribed with the date of the 2018 MLS Cup, the final score and the motto "5-Stripes don't stop."
Local rapper Waka Flocka, one of Atlanta's most famous fans, stopped by to help pass out the rings.
