Atlanta United's fans had plenty of excuses for being less than fully hyped on Saturday night.
Their team entered their home match vs. the Houston Dynamo riding a 1-3-3 slump over the past two months, and heavy storms washed across the region in the run-up to the game, delaying kickoff at Bobby Dodd Stadium by nearly an hour.
But supporters of the Five Stripes were hardly fazed, as they proved when a microphone malfunction left the national anthem singer muted during pregame ceremonies.

The ATL UTD faithful swiftly stepped up to belt out a solid a cappella version, setting the tone for an evening that ended with a thumping 4-1 victory for the home side.
They're not the first crowd in MLS history to produce an excellent crowd-sourced anthem, however. Portland's Timbers Army earned national headlines for their renditions when their team entered the league a few years ago:
