FC Dallas defender Atiba Harris took a step back from the game to honor a fan ahead of the season, presenting a very special family with 2016 FCD season tickets.
Harris presented Jenny Perez, her husband Tom and their two daughters with season tickets for the year at a surprise meeting in March, roughly a year after Perez was initially diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Perez family committed to getting FCD season tickets in 2015, but they were forced to give them up after Jenny’s diagnosis. Harris, 31, heard their story and was immediately moved, eventually deciding to give them with season tickets during a meeting with Jenny and Tom in March.
