AMSTERDAM – Tim Howard and Everton snapped a three-game Premier League win drought on Monday night by easing past visiting Queens Park Rangers 3-1.
The Toffees star notched three saves and as many cross captures to stretch his Goodison Park unbeaten run in league play to five matches. Howard was 10 minutes from a shutout when Bobby Zamora bagged a rebound from close range to get QPR on the board.
The victory pulled Everton back to break-even for the season, while also boosting them three rungs to 10th place.
