American Exports: Michael Orozco sees red again, but Puebla get a point vs. sinking Chivas

Puebla's Michael Orozco

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Michael Orozco received his second red card of the Liga MX Apertura 2014 campaign for Puebla, with La Franja picking up a point in Sunday’s 0-0 tie in the relegation battle against Chivas in Estadio Omnilife.

Orozco picked up his first yellow card in the 50th minute after a late challenge on Fernando Arce and 13 minutes later was adjudged to have fouled Angel Reyna in the center of the field and got a second caution, although replays showed there was minimal contact.

The US international featured on the left side of central defense and put in a positive performance while he was on the pitch.

Orozco created the first chance of the game in the 5th, when he launched a ball from inside his own half onto the head of Alfonso Tamay, whose attempt went over the bar.

The result leaves Puebla down in 14th place in the Liga MX on 11 points from 10 matches of the Apertura.
