AMSTERDAM – According to a Monday morning report by German daily Der Taggespiegel, Hertha Berlin back line marshal John Brooks is questionable for Saturday's Bundesliga visit from Timothy Chandler’s Eintracht Frankfurt with a bruised hip.
The US center back was removed from this past weekend's 2-0 loss at Borussia Dortmund in the 55th minute. Hertha boss Pál Dárdai told the local paper he was uncertain as to how quickly the youngster would be back in full training.
Brooks recently led a survival charge that saw Hertha post five shutouts during a seven-match unbeaten run.
However, heading into the next-to-last game of the season against Eintracht, the capital crew stand just three points above the danger line.
