All-Star swag: Benny Feilhaber on hair, Kei Kamara on "sexy" overalls and DaMarcus Beasley's jewelry | SIDELINE

Benny Feilhaber shows off his "rooster fauxhawk" at the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star celebrations

The AT&T MLS-All Star team is (mostly) assembled in Denver and training! So after the guys finished up a pool and rehab session Monday morning, we decided to get to them while they were loose and limber and talk some sartorial swag. How do some of the top players in the league also come out as the top purveyors of social media-ready lewks?

Let’s talk first about the hair gawd, Benny Feilhaber, who’s running on a hot streak of goals. Off the pitch, too, there’s big Benny news: The mullet might not come back, but a style equally Benny-tastic might take its place. Remember the mullet’s majestic glory?

“It was for charity that we did it for. It was pretty outrageous,” he said. “And as outrageous as I might seem, I don’t know if I can sport it for more than one game. Once the hair grows out enough maybe we’ll do something else.”

For now, though, he’s rocking this thing, which he calls “a rooster fauxhawk.” Know, it, love it – and also follow Dom Dwyer for clues on where Feilhaber’s Feilhair might go next, because that’s who he says is his style guru.

Kei Kamara, a forward on the All-Star roster, boasts a pretty top-tier ‘do as well – but he also rocked this last night at the All-Star festivities. Never forget.

Fashion tip from Kei, guys: More men should wear overalls.

“To me it’s just a confidence thing – confidence in what you’re wearing. It’s really sexy,” Kamara said of his vote for overalls on his all-star wardrobe roster. “I wore that yesterday; my butt’s out, my legs are showing, and I enjoy it.”

Besides overalls, Kamara says, you should just listen to the advice of Orlando City SC defender Aurélien Collin, who has his own clothing line.

“He says, ‘Fashion is my passion,’” Kamara says, “which is funny. But it’s like sometimes it’s really hot, but as long as you dress and look good, you feel good, and the weather doesn’t really matter.”

After hair and clothes, no overall All-Star look is complete without accessories, though – so luckily we ran into DaMarcus Beasley. His jewelry line, currently based in Scotland, is still happening, guys!

“It gets my mind away from football, you know?” Beasley says. “I always liked jewelry since I was a younger lad. It’s an opportunity for me to develop and make pieces that I like that I think other people will like.”

When he’s not holding it down for the Houston Dynamo, Beasley says he’s working to get the line over to the US.

In the meantime, how can you be like Beasley? Joggers.

“I’m really into joggers,” he said. “You can wear them casually, out, to dinner, whatever. I’m a very laid-back kind of dresser. “

Look how stoked he seems to be pondering the comfort of joggers. (We really asked him, “Smile like you’re thinking of joggers.)

So there you go – some inside secrets of champions, both on and off the pitch. We can only aspire to emulate their greatness.
