Two of MLS' newest stars gave the league a commanding early lead against Tottenham Hotspur during Wednesday night's 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game, with team captain Kaká and forward David Villa scoring in the 20th and 23rd minutes to put the All-Stars up 2-0 on Tottenham Hotspur.
Kaká buried a penalty kick (watch below) to give the MLS All-Stars the lead, slotting his spot kick past goalkeeper Michael Vorm and into the lower left corner after Spurs midfielder Nacer Chadli was whistled for a handball on a Clint Dempsey corner.
The Brazilian star assisted on Villa’s tally three minutes later, running onto Dempsey’s flick of a Gyasi Zardes cross in the right side of the area and driving a low ball across the face of goal that Villa redirected home from six-yards out.
The goals came on either side of a fantastic Nick Rimando save on Spurs star forward Harry Kane.
