TFC Academy returned to winning ways on Sunday with a 2-1 victory over Serbian White Eagles at Lamport Stadium. The Academy had previously lost three in a row and are now 3-4-0 in the Canadian Soccer League this season.
Forward Max Marsh opened the scoring for TFC in the 23rd minute and the lead was doubled 12 minutes later through Jarek Whitemen.
With three minutes remaining, TFC Academy conceded a penalty. Daniel Di Biago was sent off for a goal-saving hand ball. Sasa Viciknez scored to make it 2-1.
TFC Academy are back in action on Saturday, June 21st against Trois-Rivieres Attak at Stade de l'UQTR. Kick off is 4:00 p.m.
