The LA Galaxy announced Friday that more than 80,000 tickets have already been sold for the club's international friendly against FC Barcelona and are encouraging fans to arrive early at the Rose Bowl. With additional tickets now available, a crowd of over 85,000 is expected for this game, which is presented by Farmers Insurance Group.
Individual tickets are available starting at just $50, giving you the chance to see the Galaxy take on one of the world's most prolific and popular clubs with their full complement of stars such as Lionel Messi, Rafael Marquez, Xavi, Carles Puyol, Thierry Henry, Andres Iniesta and more.
Heavy traffic and congested streets are anticipated around the Rose Bowl for this event. The LA Galaxy, the Rose Bowl Stadium and the Pasadena Police Department advise all those attending the event to arrive at the Rose Bowl prior to 6 p.m. to help avoid traffic delays and to take advantage of the opportunity to bring a picnic or tailgate on the Rose Bowl grounds or adjacent golf courses.
In addition, the Galaxy's Soccer Fest will open at 4 p.m., and run all the way up to kickoff at 8 p.m., in Lot H in front of the Rose Bowl, featuring Live Music, a Galaxy Fan Fun Zone with interactive elements, Galaxy Futboleros, Face Painters, and Interactive Sponsor Booths with Giveaways, plus Food Vendors and a Beer Garden.
Alternatively, we recommend that fans consider carpooling or utilizing alternate means of transportation. Information on the Metro Gold Line and the free spectator shuttle bus from Old Pasadena is below.
