Additionally, Neville has made DRV PNK Stadium a fortress, with the club unbeaten in 11 of its last 12 home matches, winning nine of them. The former U.S. National Team star already has the most wins of a first-year MLS head coach (19) since 1998, and is two wins away from securing the record for the most wins by a first-year head coach in league history. Cherundolo has also proved adept at making the right late-game adjustments, as his substitutes have come on to score a league-high 15 goals off the bench, the third-highest total in MLS history, and LAFC has been dominant in the second half, outscoring opponents 43-13 after the halftime break. Cherundolo has continued to develop emerging young talents such as Mahala Opoku (21), Diego Palacios (23), Jose Cifuentes (23) and Mamadou Fall (19) into impact players, while blending a contingent of established stars into one of the most fearsome rosters in the league. The next closest was the Portland Timbers who earned 1.117 in 2019.
