The MLS SuperDraft is headed back to Indianapolis.
The league on Thursday announced that the Indiana Convention Center will play host to the annual event at noon ET on Thursday, Jan. 17, in conjunction with the NSCAA convention taking place on the same site.
The SuperDraft will consist of two rounds with 19 picks each for the second straight year, followed by a four-round Supplemental Draft held via conference call on the following Tuesday, Jan. 22.
The SuperDraft was last held in Indianapolis in 2007, when Toronto FC used the first overall pick and their first in franchise history on University of Maryland star midfielder Maurice Edu.
The dates for the MLS Player Combine were also unveiled: Four Combine squads will be assembled and will play on three matchdays at Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.: Jan. 11, Jan. 13 and Jan. 15.
Fans can attend all three doubleheaders for $10 each.
