On Saturday and Sunday in London, the world's best FIFA 19 players will represent their country and aim to win the first edition of the FIFA eNations Cup.
Among those battling it out will be two eMLS players looking to establish the United States as a powerhouse on the EA Sports FIFA scene.
Representatives
eMLS treble-winner doolsta declared that he would play for the US rather than Ireland, where he grew up. He will be joined by GGGodfather as the two players for the United States.
Doolsta represents the Philadelphia Union and GGGodfather suits up for the LA Galaxy on the club level. Doolsta is currently 19th in the Global Series Rankings while GGGodfather is 59th.
The pair qualified by reaching the final of the 2019 eMLS Cup presented by PlayStation, which doolsta narrowly won, 2-1 on aggregate.
Format and group opponents
The USeNT have been drawn into a group with Spain, New Zealand, Mexico and China, as the 20 countries qualified have been divided into four groups of five. The top two nations will advance to the knockout rounds.
The 2019 eNations Cup draw
In the group stage, each match will consist of three games, meaning nine points will be up for grabs. There will be two 1v1 matches, one on Xbox and one on PlayStation. The last match is a 2v2 between the countries, so Doolsta and GGGodfather will have to sync up and form some chemistry.
The knockout rounds will have two 1v1 matches, though won't feature an aggregate score. If the nations split the two games, or draw both, a third match will be played to decide the winner, which will be 2v2.
Prizes and eWorld Cup
In addition to international glory and bragging rights, the winning team will receive a prize of $100,000 as well up to 1,500 FIFA 19 Global Series Points, which count towards the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings, which help determine qualification for the FIFA 19 season's championship event, the eWorld Cup.

All rounds will be streaming live on Caffeine's dedicated EA Sports FIFA eSports channel. Caffeine will feature exclusive live hosted broadcasts, where streamers including eMLS players BuckArmy (Colorado) and CaliSCG (San Jose) will be providing analysis and interacting with fans.
