FOX Sports is pulling out the stops for their first broadcast of MLS Cup, as they will air a special one-hour 2016 MLS Cup preview show on FS1 on Friday at 10 pm ET.
The program, which will preview Saturday's match-up between Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders at BMO Field (8 pm ET, FOX, UniMás | TSN1/3/4, RDS in Canada), and will be hosted by Rob Stone, with FOX Sports analysts and former MLS players Alexi Lalas, Eric Wynalda and Stuart Holden providing analysis. SI.com and FOX Sports soccer insider Grant Wahl and former Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid will also appear on the preview.
In addition to providing a comprehensive look at the MLS title game, the show will also include the announcement of the US Soccer 2016 male player awards. Three MLS players -- TFC's Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley, and Seattle's Clint Dempsey, are nominated for the Male Player of the Year award, while two MLS players -- Seattle's Jordan Morris and Atlanta United's Andrew Carleton -- are nominated for Young Male Player of the Year.
