On Wednesday MLS released a breakdown of rostered players which outlines the totals of US-born, Canadian-born and foreign-born players as compared to previous seasons.
The table below, as distributed by the league, highlights the fact that US-born (265) and Canadian-born players (24) are at an all-time high. The percentage of US- and Canadian-born players has also increased year over year:
