It’s time for the last big reveal in our poll of the adidas MLS Combine 2016 athletes. We checked in with them about their favorite MLS players, their favorite MLS stadiums, and their top soccer idols of all time.
But considering they’re trying to win a slot in the upcoming MLS SuperDraft on one of the league’s teams, they’d better have been studying them all, right? So who did the guys pick as their top overall favorite MLS teams?
For the most part, you won’t be that surprised with the winners—except, maybe, the four guys who answered “don’t have one,” “idk,” “no,” and the classic “n/a.” (Good thing for them the surveys were unsigned!)
Anyways, here are the top five teams that won the Combine athletes’ vote:
- First place: LA Galaxy (9 votes)
- Second place: Portland Timbers (7 votes)
- Third place: New York Red Bulls (6 votes)
- Fourth place (Tie): Columbus Crew SC and Orlando City (5 votes each)
- Fifth place: Seattle Sounders (4 votes)
A few other teams got multiple nods, though. Here’s how the rest of the ballots looked:
