WHAT COACHES SAY: 6-foot-6.... Very good centerback ... Solid defender, very good in the air and one-v-one ... Has good timing and communication ... Technically he has good feet but not sure if they are good enough for the next level. I can't imagine he is not going to be brought in by the Rapids ... One of the most gifted defenders in college.  

COLLEGE (Cornell University): Team captain and leading scorer with three goals and two assists as Cornell posted a program-record goals-against average of 0.60 for the season … Played every minute for Big Red and ended college career on a consecutive minutes streak of 5,123 dating back to Oct. 2010 ... Named NSCAA Northeast Region first team, Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Ivy, First Team All-Northeast Region and Capital One Academic All-District ... Named to the MAC Hermann Watch List for the second consecutive season … Candidate for the Senior CLASS Award in the preseason … 2012: Two goals, both on headers, and one assist … All-Ivy First Team for the second consecutive season … 2011: Three goals and two assists for the Bears .... Anchored an Ivy League-leading defense which allowed just 13 goals in 16 games ... Played every minute of every game for Cornell … 2010: Honorable mention All-Ivy League accolades in his first season as Cornell allowed just 16 goals in 17 games … Collected one assist.

PDL: Played for Reading United in 2013. 

HIGH SCHOOL: All-state, all-region and All-American scholar as a senior while also earning Colorado Defensive Player of the Year honors at Liberty … Two-time all-state player along with being a league player of the year … Selected to his school's soccer hall of fame.

CLUB: Played for the Colorado Rapids Development Academy, serving as team captain … Named Adidas Colorado MVP in 2007.

PERSONAL: The youngest of five siblings … Studied at Cornell's College of Engineering, graduating early in December.
