A strong, tough defender who is most comfortable as a central defender, but can also play on the right … is expected to provide depth to the Revs’ defensive corps this year … impressed the team during a 10-day tryout during the team’s Atlanta leg of their 2011 preseason preparations … since suffering his leg injury in 2009, has not played organized soccer. 

COLLEGE
Played four seasons at Winthrop University (2005-08), earning all-region honors as a senior in 2008 … made 80 appearances – 79 starts – and scored five goals and added 11 assists in his career … as a sophomore, recorded four goals and three assists in 22 games … had a career-high five assists out of the back as a senior … suffered a leg injury suffered in his final collegiate game – against William & Mary in the 2008 NCAA Tournament – which prevented him from participating in the 2010 MLS Combine, to which he was invited.
