MidfielderCordon joined three other Academy teammates when he signed for the First Team on March 17, 2011. He joined the Toronto FC Academy program in 2009 after leaving the Mississauga Falcons youth soccer program. Cordon earned two call-ups to the First Team during the 2010 season during the Nutrilite Canadian Championship and then the CONCACAF Champions League.
2011: Appeared in four matches, starting in one while logging 144 minutes. Cordon’s first appearance as a member of the First Team came as a substitute on April 13 against LA Galaxy. His first official start came just days later on April 16 at home against D.C. United. Nutrilite Canadian Championship: Started against FC Edmonton in the first leg of the semifinals on April 27. He was used as a half-time substitute in the first leg of the finals in Vancouver on May 18 against the Whitecaps.
