MidfielderLindsay became the second player in Toronto FC history to join the First Team from the Academy when he signed in September 2010. He went on to make three MLS appearances and recorded three assists in his first season as a professional. Lindsay will miss the entire 2012 season as he continues his rehabilitation following surgery during the 2011 offseason.
2011: Missed entire season, rehabbing from offseason surgery.
2010: Made MLS debut on October 2, 2010 against Seattle and set up a late goal in the 3-2 loss at Qwest Field. Started in two of the four league games he played, logging 240 minutes. Nutrilite Canadian Championship: First senior team appearance came on June 2, 2010 while still with the Academy. Was a halftime substitute against the Vancouver Whitecaps in a goalless draw at BMO Field. CONCACAF Champions League: Played on the night of his promotion to the senior team in a Group Stage game at Real Salt Lake.
ACADEMY: On June 29, 2010, Lindsay turned heads scoring a hat-trick against Chilean powerhouse Colo Colo in a Toronto FC Academy exhibition match. Lindsay's CONCACAF Champions League debut came against Salt Lake on the evening of his official promotion to the senior team.
