2013: Made four appearances in first full season with Sounders FC, finishing with an even 1.00 goals against average. Made MLS debut for Sounders FC in 3-0 shutout win vs. DAL (8/3), his first MLS game in 14 years, one month, and 14 days, the longest lapse in appearances in league history. Finished with 2-2-0 record in MLS regular season, with one clean sheet. Started in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals, a 2-1 loss vs. POR (11/2). Appeared in the 2-0 win vs. COL (10/30) in the Knockout Round, coming on in the 87th minute after a red card was issued to Michael Gspurning.
