Irving Garcia

Garcia is a shifty attacking player who starred for the University of California – Irvine. He helped Irvine to two-straight Big West Conference titles and led all Big West players in points and assists, capturing the Big West Offensive Player of the Year.

Collegiate/Club:
A NSCAA Third Team All-American, College Soccer News Second Team All-American and a 2008 First Team All-Big West selection, Garcia scored eight goals and nine assists as a senior last season. Was named Big West Offensive Player of the Year, leading all players in points (25) and assists (nine). Played two seasons at Irvine, featuring in 45 games. Spent first two seasons at Yavapai College.

Born in Ventura, CA, Garcia’s favorite soccer team is Mexican powerhouse, Necaxa. Listens to Spanish rock and he is a fan of Juanes. Favorite athlete is Ronaldo and enjoys watching tennis in his spare time.
