2009: Appeared in 6 games, 2 of those as a starter and logged 204 minutes….recorded one assist….made first start on 04/11/09 in a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas at BMO Field…came on as substitute in 82nd minute for Jim Brennan against Real Madrid on 08/07/09.
2008: Appeared in 12 games, 4 as a starter, logging 486 minutes…he became the 5th youngest player to score and MLS goal when he netted his first career marker on 07/12/08 in Chicago…”Ibbe” would score his second goal on 10/04/08 at Giants Stadium in New York as TFC came up with a big 3-2 victory over the Red Bulls to keep their playoff hopes alive…appeared in 6 TFC Reserve Team games, all as a starter and scored 2 goals.
2007: Appeared in no games for FC Dallas in 2007.
Of Note: In 2007, at 16 years of age was the second youngest player ever to be selected in an MLS SuperDraft, following 14-year old Freddy Adu in 2004…he was chosen in the 2nd Round (14th overall).
International: Called into U.S U-20 training camp in August 08 as well as a in November 08…the first camp was in Florida, the second in Spain…is a past member of the U.S. Soccer’s U-17 Residency Program (2006)…was also a member of the U.S. U-17 FIFA World Cup team that played in South Korea in 2007 where he appeared in all 4 matches, later that year called into U-20 camp held in Argentina….attended U.S. U-20 camps.
Personal: Fuad comes from a large family with three brothers and two sisters…lists Fox Soccer Channel as his favourite TV show…other languages spoken include Somali, and Oromu…the best meal he cooks is pasta…favourite MLS city is Toronto…player he’d most like to face in a game is Chelsea’s John Terry…enjoys watching both football and basketball.
