Professional: After signing with FC Dallas in late January, Edward worked his way onto the 18-man roster after performing well in an FC Dallas reserve match against the Colorado Rapids on August 1. He made his first appearance on FC Dallas’ bench in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia on August 8. Edward remained in the top 18 for five consecutive matches through Sept. 4 without seeing time with the first team. He was left out of the top 18 for two matches in mid-September before returning to the bench for a match against New England on Sept. 22. Edward finally made his professional debut on Sept. 25 against Kansas City. He played five minutes at left back after coming on for Jair Benitez in a 3-1 victory. Edward remained in the top 18 for FC Dallas’ next match, a 3-0 win with the Chicago Fire on Oct. 2 before suffering an injury that sidelined the defender for the remainder of the season.
College: Named first-team All-HAAC in 2008 and second-team All-HAAC in 2009… In 2008, helped Graceland to a 13-5-2 mark, and a conference title as the Yellow Jackets finished the season ranked No. 22 nationally in the NAIA… In his final season at Graceland, the squad went 10-6-2...
