Professional: 2012-14: Made 14 appearances and scored one goal after joining Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish first division following his sophomore year of college… Contract with Djurgårdens IF was not renewed following the 2013 season and Span’s rights were awarded to FC Dallas via a weighted lottery held by MLS on Jan. 9, 2014.

College: Played two years at the University of Virginia… Started 39 of 41 matches during his time with the Cavaliers, scoring 12 goals and eight assists as a forward.
