Professional

2014: Made his season debut in Dallas’ second match of the season, a 1-1 draw in Kansas City on March 15… Made seven consecutive starts through April 26, helping Dallas compile a 4-2-1 record while outscoring opponents 16-11… Returned to the lineup on May 17 and appeared in 16 of the next 19 matches across all competitions before tearing his plantar fascia in the U.S. Open Cup Semifinal… Despite the injury, Keel played the remainder of the match and two overtime sessions, helping Dallas force penalty kicks (Dallas had used all three of its substitutions prior to Keel’s injury)… The center back had surgery to repair the injury and missed the remainder of the season. 2013: Keel scored his first MLS goal in the 90th minute of a 2-1 loss to San Jose on 10/26… His first start of the year came on 7/4 in a 0-0 draw against Chivas USA at Toyota Stadium… Finished the season with five starts and eight appearances for a total of 497 minutes played… Logged 652 minutes with the FC Dallas Reserves (sixth most in 2013). 2012: Started six times out of nine appearances with Red Bull New York… Logged a total of 501 minutes. 2011: Set career highs in games played (16), starts (13) and assists (2). Made Red Bull New York debut on 3/26 at Columbus, starting and playing all 90 minutes of 0-0 draw. Registered first career MLS assist on Thierry Henry’s game-winning goal on 6/10 in 2-1 victory over New England. Started, played 90 minutes and assisted on Luke Rodgers’ game-winning goal on 9/17 at FC Dallas. 2009-10: Appeared in 53 games for USL First Division side Portland Timbers, scoring one goal. 2005-09: Was a member of the Colorado Rapids, appearing in six MLS matches… Played in 36 reserve games for the Rapids, helping lead the team to back-to-back MLS Reserve Division titles in 2006 and 2007… In 2007, was named MLS Magazine’s Reserve Player of the Year… During the 2006 season, he was loaned out to then USL side Seattle Sounders, where he played in 10 games and scored one goal.
