"We need to rescue that": Paulo Nagamura vows identity restoration at Houston Dynamo
As he steps into his role as Houston Dynamo FC's new head coach, Paulo Nagamura recognizes that plenty of work lies ahead.

Sao Palo native Paulo Nagamura has played for LA Galaxy, Toronto FC, Chivas USA and Sporting Kansas City. He has won multiple MLS Cups, multiple US Open Cups, and has converted a penalty in both of Sporting's Open Cup victories and their 2013 MLS Cup Final. He was named MLS Player of the Week on August 18, 2015 for his two late goals, and was recognized as an MLS All Star in 2009. He signed a new deal in the offseason, and Sporting Fans will hope to see him converting more penalties in championship shootouts soon.
OUTSIDE MLS: Nagamura began his soccer career with Sao Paulo FC and Arsenal before coming to the United States to play for the LA Galaxy in 2005. In 2009, he spent six months on loan at Tigres UANL in Mexico.
