Toronto FC have acquired winger Derrick Etienne Jr. from Atlanta United, the Eastern Conference clubs announced Wednesday.

In exchange for the 27-year-old Haitian international, Atlanta receive $200,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM) and up to an additional $175,000 in GAM if certain performance metrics are met.

Etienne Jr. has 17 goals and 19 assists in 171 appearances since entering MLS in 2015 as a homegrown player for the New York Red Bulls. He's also featured for FC Cincinnati, the Columbus Crew and Atlanta.

Internationally, Etienne Jr. has eight goals and seven assists in 41 caps with Haiti.

Etienne Jr. is Toronto's ninth addition of the Primary Transfer Window, continuing their roster overhaul under head coach John Herdman. Other newcomers include midfielders Deybi Flores and Matty Longstaff, plus defenders Richie Laryea and Kevin Long.
